VS climate Control

Gday guys,

I havent used my climate control for a while and recently i turned it on to notice that there is a black square box with a white X in that box displayed on the LCD... Also when i check the ambient temperature it tells me its -30 degrees.

I know this summer hasnt been as hot a previous ones but -30 come on :

The X means that one part of the climate control system has failed, namely a sensor. With your ambient showing -30, I would suggest that it would be that sensor that is causing the X and the erratic readings. Sensor is located next to the receiver dryer canister for the A/C system, drivers side of the car infront of the radiator.
