Question VR headlights

Hi all,

I have a 93 VR Calais.
Just wondering how I can re-aim the headlights?

Thanks
Aaron

There are two screws on the top of each headlight. They are marked up/down and left/right or something like that. I have tried, didnt like the results. You cant aim the high beam and low beam independently, so if I aim one up, the other seems to be whack. Give it a go anyway, you might have some luck.

Use a screwdriver, clockwise to go up anitclockwise to go down, there will be two srews which will need to be adjusted you'll see them near the globes.

Turn the high beams on and aim them, the lows will then point in the right direction (In theory). Aim it at a wall about 5m away, mark 2 crosses the same height as you lights and in a direct line.

thanks guys. I had a look and it seems I have bolts rather than screws, does that sound right? The only screws I can see are on top of the high beam globe cover.
The bolts are right next to the little (left-right up-down) diagrams on the plastic - are they the ones?

Thanks again
Aaron

I think the bolts are the ones holding the headlight assembly solid. Im assuming that your calais is the same setup as my acclaim, there should be holes in the chassis, just above the headlight. If you look down, you will see the screws.
