Diagnostic terminal on VR SS

Hey Guys,
new to the forum and was just wondering where i can find the diagnostic terminal under the dash of a VR SS commodore...first i have owned and obviously have no manual as yet...Cheers:thumbsup:

where the fuse panel cover is under the steering column approximately in the centre along the bottom is the connector

Want to check timing and it's the first time dealing with a chip controlled commie.....how do i ground the diagnostic terminal????

If you mean ground (as in connect the ground to ...) well the diagram is pretty good. LOL

Ooops! It's not so clear on the VR connector. Do you want to ground pins 5 and 6 for a diagnostics on your car.

Lol....says to ground the terminal JcB...i take it that means to "earth" before applying the timing light....cheers again
