Berlina. Started today. Comes from the end of a 15mm approx pipe which has a 90° bend. The end is right next to air outlet for feet next to central console.
Have rotated pipe up temporarily but cant find where this pipe is to be connected. Any clues?
TIA
Found this:-
Water on Drivers Side Floor.
Yeah pipe doesn't connect to anything if it's the one I'm thinking of. The way I fixed mine was to grab a cable tie and crawl underneath the car on the passenger side above the exhaust their is a little hole the aircon uses to drain from. poke around in their with the end of the cable tie until some mud and other crap comes out. That worked for me. It pretty much says to do it in one of the threads you linked to. I'm just trying to make it esier for ya tho. And the hole I'm talking about is (if i remmeber correctly) located maybe under the front passenger seat above the exhaust. (have a good look round when your under the car and it can be spotted). Hope that helps

Umm on second thoughts I think its located forward of the position i mentioned. stupid brain. anyway i remember it actually drips onto the exhaust pipe on the vp v6.

Would you believe I found another thread about the same problem. It's under All things VR
blocked aircon drain - leaking in the car on drivers side
where I posted:-
"I've got a VR Berlina sedan and I've only got one drain hole.
Its located above and near the back of the pan of auto transmission and almost directly across from where the twin exhaust pipes join. It really is a difficult place to get to."
That pipe I described in the first post is apparently a breather pipe for the Climate Control and is meant to be open ended. Thought I saw a drop of water come out of it but it was just the heat exchanger nearby that had sprung a small leak.
So it wasn't the airconditioning after all.
Sheesh. More dollars![]()
the pipe you are talking about is the heater exzess drain pipe .. usually means ur heater core is rooted. its a bastard to change so dont try it urself :P the taap in the engine bay can only close it soo much not seal the amount of water that drains through , in the mean time block the pipes off that go into the firewall from the engine, or the heater tap and it should stop leakin for ya buddy![]()
