Default Going to kill my friend...

We were swapping over ecotec engine covers from my step dad's (now un-used) VS ... my engine cover was a bit warped and someone had left something black on it and it was all stained. We were swapping them over and my friend lost.... (yes, him, not me, because i was busy putting the old cover back on the other car) three of the four washers, and the little metal pipe like things that the nuts sit on when attaching the cover. I'm driving around with one nut holding my cover in place !

Where'd be the best place to get these ? A wreckers or A holden dealer?

I thought they were locked in place. Didnt think the nuts could be removed from the cover. Honestly, leave the cover off, it retains heat in the plenum chamber.

If your worried just go take one bolt off, go to a bolt shop. Ask for some more nuts. Pay your 70 cents. Leave with nuts.

Personally, I prefer it on. It hides the untidy mess of the fuel rails and wiring.

I decided to put it on... but one of the screws coming up from the engine is bent, so i could only put 3 out of the 4 bolts on.

Not to worry, there's a 75% chance the engine cover's not going anywhere :P.

Go to holden spare parts and it will cost you next to nothing to get the 4 nuts and grommets, lol
