ok heres one for yous all,ive been having a prob with idle jumping between 1100 and 700 rpm also when the convertor locks in 4th if you put a slight amount of power on starts pinging.Now ive replaced the dfi ,cas leads,cam sensor ,when you replace one it works for a day then starts again.I thought it may have been an earth so fitted new earth leads,the other thing thats getting me is no codes are coming up the ecu was checked by come no prob.then the other day i could smell plastic burning but looked and could not find any damaged plastic parts? any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks !![]()
sounds like a job for an experience auto electrician or dyno tuner....
definitely timing problem, and idle may be set too low with the new cam and headwork....
Checked the fuel pressure.......
