VR 4L60-E box behind VP motor

I want to run a VR 4L60-E auto box behind a VP motor, I have the engine wiring harness, computer and BCM unit. Will this still work as there is no cam sensor on a VP motor.

it shouldnt be too hard if you have the whole vr loom and ecm, i think you will have to get the memcal modified for the missing cam angle sensor

O.K, can I use the front cover off the VR engine that contains the sensor and put it onto the VP motor?
That will mean removing the Balancer and such.

pretty sure you can but it would be best to check with someone else, it would save alot of wiring hasles that way because then you can run the sequential injection and such..

Vr's aren't sequential injection, Vs Ecotec's were the first

yeh thats what i thought too, so why do they run a cam angle sensor?
