Jumping Commodores is the right thing to do... Flex is a good thing.
those very back ones are a whole window and seal kit( comes with glass)and arenot cheap!
its a commen problem with the commys, i think you will have trouble finding second hand ones without this decay. u could try painting it i suppose?
yeah paint it i have to do mine soon, we did a mates a few weeks ago. Best thing is to remove them from your car dont try and paint them when they are still on the car.
This is a link to a thread on 'that other' forum, it's how to fix a boot leak but it gives you pretty detailed instructions on how to remove the quarter windows.

I have the same problem with mine and i was told to paint them, but i could never find out what the paint was called. Does anyone know what it is called?
If it's just the rubber colour that has changed, could you use some tyre black on it ??
Trouble with tyre black would be every time you washed the car you need to reapply it.

Here you go, same thread on this forum.
i know eucalyptus oil reguvanates rubber, i use them on the paper pickup rubbers on printers.. does an awesome job, couldnt hurt trying it on the door rubbers, if u cant replace them straight away. may bring them back to life, but u may have to sand a lil of the rough parts first..
Go to any good paint store, or even bunnings, Paint right, Dulux whoever and buy some nice blue masking tape, easy to peel off and wont lift anything with it.
Grab some old news papers.
Go tape and paper EVERYTHING around that area and beyond, use some wax and grease remover on the whole kit and kaboodle.
allow to dry.
dust well,
Ensure all tape and paper is sealed well and no overspray will reach ANYTHING.
Get some black paint, Rollbar paint works well, I got some from Autobarn its designed to take a bashing from the weather.
Spray the whole thing so it all matches nicely, long even strokes with the can, light coats, allow a few minutes between each coat.
Thats just my suggestion, its how i'd do it, anyone got any better ideas?
P.S maybe talk to someone about what the best paint to adhese to rubber would be, I make Paint for a living and I can promise, some paints will simply peel straight off and fly off when you high pressure clean the car.
i recently re did my black trims by taping off the chrome inserts + glass, then lightly sanding it back and using 'forever black' on it - its a kind of dye.. came up great.
cost = $20 from supercheap.
