Code 83 - TCC PWM Solenoid Fault - Auto Transmission Only

Can any one shed some light on this error code?

its a 1993 vr auto v6, i get error 83 but i have no idea what the error means,

TCC = torque convertor control??

maybe ur torque con lockup solenoid is stuffed.. maybe give an auto place a quick call and see what they say.. may need a rebuild or just a new torque con.

TCC solenoid is the lockup function of your converter. needs to be replaced

i just called them, they said its something to do with lockup and pressure to the pump etc the solenoid is 110 bux, cheers
