Lucas - 650 degrees, cheap but dust...
Bendix - 550 degress, more expensive than either of the other two, and still dust...
HPX - 550 degress, cheap and don't dust at all...

I know you're obviously after other people's opinions aswell, but this thread pretty well sums it up:
    VR II Brakes 'n' stuff

What's the application your trying to provide for?
    - GSL RallySport - Ph: 1300 884 836 -
Sick of paying too much for high performance brake pads? Want high performance and cold bite with low rotor wear?

As was said in that thread, since they banned asbestos, you can't have one without the other... The best compromise is the HPX, all QFM pads are VERY little dust, yet at 550 degrees still provide excellent stopping power. Anything above that is going to dust...

The Lucas is the choice of most hard driven street cars, and Bendix are miles out of the market when it comes to price vs performance... What are you using the car for???

Then QFM HPX (or even just taxi) would be my reccomendation, anything is going to be a step up from Bendix. But just remember that in any braking system the weakest link isn't the pads or rotors, its the fluid.

The only thing with the QFM's is that they keep they're lower spec pads in stock, but make their upper specs pads on order, so if they dont have them available at the time, there can often be up to a 2-3 week wait for them...

If your car is standard you do not need different bigger callipers... Slotted rotors, RBF600 fluid, and the best pads you want... FFS, I've won a state title on less than that...

And if your that worried about dust then I dont ultimate outright performance is on the top of your list anyway, just get the rotors, better pads, and replace the fluid, THEN if you have problems start thinking about wasting $2500 dollars...
