how much does it cost to get tail shaft rebuilt or no where i can find out ?

generally the only things to 'rebuild' are the 2 uni joints and the centerbearing.. if u really wanted to, u could to the CV joints also.. but they last almost forever.. not a hard job to do urself, just fiddly

cost, u'd have to ring a bearing joint.. and if u could get all the parts replaceable and then take em to a diff joint or machanic u'd save heaps

A driveline specialist will balance the tailshaft as well as changing the unis and centre bearing. Its been years since ive even asked about getting it done but I think it was about $250.

Got mine done recently when i put the new LSD in, was complety shagged so cost almost $600.

Well i got mine done recently, cost me 30 for both unijoints with greasable nipples, and 150 for re-balance. But i'm also a Diesel Mechanic so mabye there were some mates rates involved not sure.
