Aircon Fan Dont Work...
Hey can anyone help me fix a problem with my aircon?
when I turn my aircon on the compressor starts and it gets cold but the fan doesnt come on. from speed 1 to 4 it does not do anything, the fan just doesnt blow any air out the vents.
Is there a relay or a fuse that I can replace so it works again?

Check the BLOWER fusible link under the bonnet, in the fuse relay box. Also, check the fan speed resistor, make sure that is not blown.Originally Posted by Fitzy3VSVY
Could be a number of things. Start by checking fuses and relays. If you have a multimeter, check fan speed resistor (search fan speed resistor in the how-to section to find info). If you dont have a multimeter, pull it out and have a look at it. Otherwise control box might be playing up or fan might have died. If its none of above listed, its going to be a wiring fault, but thats not very common.
Thanx mate I done that and found that it was blowen... I replaced it and soon as I put my aircon fan on it just blew the fuse again... So do u have any idea wat else could be wrong??

No dramas. Well fuses don't just blow for no reason... so it would appear that there is something wrong with your fan or associated wiring, maybe something has melted in the wiring and is short circuiting? I would probably have a look at the fan motor itself, and the connections and wiring. You should be able to pick up a new one from the wreckers pretty cheap, so maybe pull yours out and swap it over... and go from there.
