    Default Help Please.v8 Starting Problem

    hey guys.I have nearly finished my v6 auto conversion to v8 manual.thing is it turns over but wont start.there is fuel in there and there is also spark.does n e 1 have any ideas on what my problem is.any replies appreciated.thanks guys

    yeah timing is correct..i had a m8 check that out.he rekons it something a bout some wires that plugd in2 the shifter when it was auto.but i duno

    Does the VR use the same ECU for manual/auto? When you did the swap did you use a complete pakage from 1 donor car or collect bits and put it all together that way?

    i have the donor car with me.i have taken everything from it.inc ecu,exhaust,suspension...everything.

    yeah my m8 cut these wires that plug in2 the shifter and joined them 2gether.b4 that the car wouldn't turn over.now it does but wont start.

    All the leads are correct? The engine actually ran in the donor car too I presume. If you have fuel and spark, it could only be a timing or compression issue.

    yeah leads are correct and the engine was running b4.i shud no it was in my old ride which i wrote the ass end off.lol.im gona get it compression tested.
