Does any vs ute owners out there have trouble with your ute scrubin the outside of your front tires??
i have been told that utes come out with a different alignment to sedans because of the load factor , so if you don't carry around a load all the time
when you get your next wheel alignment get them to align your ute the same as a sedan, this inturn will save your front tires from scrubin out and also make your ute handle better

i used to do wheel alignment for 4 years and the specs were exactly the same on the ute as the sedan they have to be. the only thing a good wheel aligner does is gets the owner to put the most common load in the tray and do the alignment from there. Outside tyre wear can also be caused from cornering to fast to often and not rotating the tyres as well. When you get the wheel alignment done make sure they adjust the camber as well, most people dont do that as it takes longer to do so dont assume they will do it make sure you ask.

I had similar wear occuring on the outside of my front tyres on my VS.I spoke to a wheel alignment specialist about it,and they ended up adjusting the camber to FE2 suspension specs so the front wheels slightly lean in more at the top, the way I drive scrubs them out as they lean out through corners,so now they dont lean out as much with more neg camber dialled in,so they wear heaps less on the edge of the tyre....It also grips in the front end way better than before..
