    Default Fitting ABS

Ok so I'm still looking for a VR or VS.
The VS I'm looking at is a vacationer and doesn't have ABS, the VR's I've seen have it...
What do the people who have it think of it?
Would it be worth fitting it and again how much $$ and how much hassle?

    Cheers
    Alex

My VS II Exec had it fitted as an option when new. Can't say that I've used it that often but it's definetly better to have it that to not have it - you never know what's around the next corner!!

I don't think it would be worth fitting into a car that doesn't have it - it requires wheel speed sensors, hardware in the engine to regulate brake pressure, fuses, relays etc.; and all of this stuff would cost big $$$ (not that I'm an expert - just my opinion)!

I'd imagine the costs would be bloody huge. There's a lot that would have to be changed, as HQ_Kid has said. 4 different wheel setups, the wiring and correct sensors, getting the electronics to do the check on it, and so on. The setup that the fluid goes through in the engine bay to regulate the flow.
Nah. I personally don't reckon it would be worth it at all. Sorry.
Forgive me if I don't reply to a query straight away. The E-mail notification function only works 50% of the time for me.
