    Default engine number need help!!

    having problems finding engine number on series 1 vs commodore have used half a can of carby cleaner and havent found it i found were it is on my parents vn commodore and on my block it just says m12 but the letters are in random spots any help would be grate

    yeah think sometimes its under the coil pack but should be in the manual...

    Shouldn't it also be on your rego sticker ? Also under the windscreen on the passenger side ?

    it is really hard to find but it is under the coil pack, beside the water pump pulley.
    You may need to move some of the wiring to find it

    Yeah just as easy though to look at Licence Papers (if its licenced lol)

    its ok now iv found it, was in a a spot that you wouldnt really notice was taking my timing gear and chain off and had my hand resting on half it and i notice the little dots when i relised it was the number but thanks for the help anyway
