Supercharge it, Raptor offer kits so you don't need to modify internals good for 160RWKW.

Yeah boosted six is the way to go if you have enough coin. How much boost are you running in the VR? Sounds like a bloody fun drive!

im only running 11psi on a safe tune, its a great car to play in, great drift car, excellent through the hils with all the suspension mods, took it on the drag strip before the turbo, it ran a 15.3 standard...well kinda but to put it into comparison my mate had an auto v8 au falcon ute and it only ran a 15.2...now with double the power i reckon youd be in the 13's and maybe a high 12?? looking to sell it now though, want a new bike!!!

the stock bottom end on buick 3800 will handle more boost then stock ecotec bottom end. the ecotecs make more power then the 3800 cause they have better flowing heads, thats why the raptors go so well on em. put one of those 4.2 stroker kits in it with low comp pistons and it's fly, handle a **** load more boost that way too

Yeah that is the eventual plan, but as i am currently working 2 jobs just to pay for my commercial pilot's license that is a way off yet. I am thinking i can try the ecotec with a cooler and some more boost and if she blows i can replace the engine very cheaply and take the boost back down no big drama!

well i have just got a new engine as the head gaskets blew out of the first one, i pulled it apat and the internals where fine, if your gonna turn the boost up, MAKE sure you get some copper gaskets or you will just blow them out, it was cheaper to get another engine than to rebuild the old one, new one is good as gold now
