My husband has just installed a new cd player and has released the vacuum for the 5 setting for the air circulation does anyone know how to connect these hoses and get the vacuum back .

Has it got Climate Control? Just connect it back up to the Vacuum Block if it has.
It's easy to do when fitting head units...It can be a bit hard getting back on though.

might need to use a screw driver to push the vaccuum plug all the way down on the control uni. then just start the car as usual and everything should run normal.
