What car is it mate?? Looks like a vr in the pics......Model of the car would help mate!
its VR V6
Sorry mate but i hate to tell you, you will need a manual loom. No easy way around it!
And also, you only need to post the thread once thanks.
is it possible though ???
No, its not possible. As i said, you need a manual loom.........
can you buy them brand new ?
or can i make on ???
You would have to ring Holden and find out. Didnt get one with the manual conversion?? Seeing as you didnt get the loom, did you get the manual ECU??
yea i got the ECU but no wiring
I would definatly be giving Holden a call. Seems like your only chance!
speak to Dr bob, i think you can have auto memcal retuned to suit a manual conversion so that you don't get all the fault codes etc with the auto loom.
the white plug on the righthand side is the speed sensor and on the other side the 2 pins are for the reverse light switch.
best to speak to Dr bob. he knows all the problems and fixes for em

Immortality is spot on according to me mate!
YES the manual box can work with the auto loom and PCM. Ive done it to mine!
Once you have worked out all your plugs, get someone to program a manual memcal for you. press it into the PCM, and off you go! only problems you will come across is check engine light (i disconnected mine, but can still check codes when needed), disable neutral start switch (trace it in the loom near the PCM using a wiring diagram), and VSS will bring up an error (only symptom here is that the car may want to stall when pulling up to a stop, not major just chokes a little)
The loom that comes off near the rear of the engine will be cables for the auto trans (the big one with the rubber insulator and the little two pin plug)

Problem is tho that yours is a VR, so all my wiring tricks will be different i believe? Mite be best to consult an auto elec who knows about VR looms, thats how i found out what to do with mine
