    Default steering rack 97 vs

    hi guys just wondering if any1 nos if changing the steering rack on a v6 vs commodore is pretty straightforward or better left to the pros i went to get a wheel alignment the other week and was told they couldnt do it cause they said sumthing like 1 end of the steering rack was stuffed so i should replace b4 they could do the allingment any way any help is apreciated thanks

    Sounds like a worn "rack end" - they cost $40 - $50 each and not impossible to instal yourself. Generally both ends are replaced.
