If you are not searching for every last KW it would be better value going for advanced. they should be at least a couple hundred cheaper. I have advance on my ecotec, and its making good power (155rwkw). Mine may need some larger pipes once i move forward in search of a bit more power tho..
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

Like REV-231 said advance will be fine if you not looking for every last kilowatt. To be honest you wont notice a very big difference on a relatively stock V6 between the two, but when you start to make some more power you will begin to notice the difference.

thanks for the info guys. i went with a set of advanced so with the money i saved i went across the road to pedders and got an upper strutbrace in stead of paying 200 more for the pacemakers

Repair a safety item? A strut brace is more rice than not unless you race the car. On a VR, he would have been better off getting new shocks and struts, that would make a better improvement to ride quality than a strut brace.

But this is just my opinion.
