    Default Boiling Coolant

    Hey,
I know this is kinda being discussed in another thread, but my coolant is boiling. Does it do any major damage? should i not be driving it? Ive been told this is caused by air in my system, how can i flush it out? Any detailed steps available? Also, there appears to be rust in the radiator where the cap goes, (just around the opening) but i remember reading somewhere that the pellets or whateva that go into the coolant after a flush can look like rust too? my car has recently undergone a coolant flush, a radiator end cap change, and some tap was leaking, which got replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try doing a search on "changing coolant" or something similar as this subject has been done many times. Better still go to the library and photocopy the relevant page from the workshop manual which they should have.
I'd be pretty worried from your description - when you say your coolant is boiling do you mean the temp gauge says so or is the overflow tank overflowing or what. If the coolant flush was done by a garage then first thing I'd be doing would be to take it back to them. Good luck.
