manual conversion wiring help!

ok ive been searchin old posts to see exactly what i have to do to the wiring in my auto vr ute to change it to manual. i know all the mechanical stuff but hte wiring has confused me when lookin at these old posts. what exactly has to be done? as far as inhibiter switch and ecu's etc? can i use the auto ecu if a get someone to retune my memcal? it seems people are converting there auto looms to be same as manual ones and im not quite sure whats involved. and am rather confused all help would definately be appreciated...save me

i just banged a 6 slotter into my VS SS, ignored the old part of the loom that went to the auto, you can run your same old ecu & memcal.
only problem being is you will constantly have an engine alarm up on the dash coz puter is saying " were`s me bloomin auto box at boss?" also your speedp will be wrong, but thats good coz not many kilometres acumilate on the odometer.
car runs sweet otherwise.
