Smile 1997 series 2 Clubsport VS was there a 215i series

I wanted to know if there was a Series 2 VS Clubsport 1997, that came out with the 5.7 litre motor or the 215i. We own one and i am trying to check it all out in New Zealand. the build number is 1374.can anyone help and let me know. I am aware that in 1997 they powered the GTS and Senator with the 215i motor.

Never heard of one either. Lotsa weird **** happens in enzud though. Also if the customer "knew" the right person anything could have wound up in there. Definitely wasn't an "official open to the public" build though.

If this turns out to be a legitimately factory built 215i Clubsport then that's a rare piece of gear, as Reaper mentioned!

Call HSV with your Vin number and they will give you all the information you will need.

If it's not a factory, then it could have had a motor transplant, or a badges/covers swap.

As mentioned before there are different models for NZ, like a S/C Senator and so on so it would be a export keep if anything.
