Hey all!
I just bought myself a VS SLR5000 but cannot find much info about the limited edition.
If anyone can shed some light about this beast or can send some pix, id be rapt!
Also if anyone knows the value..? And roughly how many still exist?

All were Phantom mica over silver, all had VL walky 16" rims.
Had similar trim to the VR clubsports, cant remember how many were made but it wasnt many.
They arent anything too exciting but still, i looked at one to buy when i was in the market a while back, can be a real nice lookin car.
I dont think the engine had anything different to the standard 5ltrs.
No body kit except for the rear SS spoiler... thats all I can think of right now

Unless I'm mistaken they we're a limited edition, to rid the factory of surplus parts, you might find group a or gtsr parts in there, just gotta be lucky I guess.

i've tried google, there is only minimal info.
i cant even find the name on any Holden website
RACV and most other ins. companys have not heard of the car

sounds like something a goose selles up here.

a bloke in brisbane sells the vt and vx as a vt cls or a vx crt.

the cls and crt refers to the name of the body kit that is installed on the car.
so you think your getting something special your only buing a stock car with a body kit nothing more.

if my memory serves me, these things were panther mica, had a slighty different body kit to the clubsport and were nothign speical, pretty sure it was a dealer release car. so there wont be the likes of build numbers or anything.

basicaly these cars arnt anything special

They were a "parts bin special" to flog a few more SS's which were getting pretty tired by then. All the changes were body kit and interior.

Gee, aren't they all a dark bunch!!

I have one, its build number 089, they did get a build number - but a Holden By Design.
They were released as a country pack in Victoria only, there were 91 of them made. 58 manuals and 33 auto.

They didn't get any engine mods, just SS spoiler, ugly wheels (walkies), FE2 suspension, and a pretty interior.
