Default burns quite alot of fuel

ok i own a 93 VR acclaim, and on thursday i got a full tank of unleaded, and after only about... 350 k's it was on the red, where normally it'll do 600k's no problem.

the oil is all good because i changed it a month ago, as well as other fluids. What could cause the problem? i was thinkin spark plugs/leads, or even the filter???

    cheers.

(with the stupid ass fuel prices i dont wanna pay double again for the burning fuel lol)

    all of the above...

Check the fuel filter, leads, plugs, coil packs, make sure you used the right oil. Is the car blowing black smoke or doing anything strange? HAve you driven the car differently to usual or taken it somewhere new (ie drove up a mountain twisty road). How has the performance been?

Try some injector cleaner too. Also what fuel did you use? Is it what you normally use and from the same place? or did you try somewhere new?

just a few trouble shooting q's

if it is very serious, i suggest you check fault code to see if oxgen sensor is wrong.
