just then silly me drove a gutter like bump that was at my local shopping centre...as i drove over i felt and heard to big thumps, obviously when each set of wheels went off the bump...i had a look under my car and at the back its only hit the towbar bracket whereas at the front its put some slight dents in the y piece of the pipes...just wondering if its going to a problem with the running of the car? and also is there anything else i should have a look under the car that it prone to damage?

have a look at the sump.... the dent in the y piece will only restrict the flow but depending on the size of the dent it should be fine. I would take the car to pedders etc and have the wheel re aligned etc

As nicko just mentioned, take the car to pedders. They will do a fairly comprehensive check for something like $14 and do an alignment for you too while its there.
