Default Red Fluid near back left wheel

I left a car park the other day and when I reveresed I noticed some red fluid on the floor where the back left wheel was.

What could this fluid be? I have checked Oil, Brake Fluid and radiator all seem fine.

What else needs to be checked... Thanks Dale

Ok new note: I checked the Auto Transmission Fluid

When the car is off the level is above full
When the car is in cold and in park the level is a little below the cold line

Can I just fill this up?

If it was brakes you would most likely have fluid on the inside of the rim & tyre. Most probably comming from power steering or tranny.

Dale have a look at the top of your oil filter and see if any fluid has dripped there indercating power steering pump leaking.
Sounds like it didn`t come from your car anyway.

and no error lights have come on...

Where do I check the power steering?

Top drivers hand side of the radiator near the top water hose.
There is a square type bottle with a black cap.
On level ground check the fluid level on the side of the bottle.

Brake fluid isn't red anyway... yellowish colour DOT4.

P/S is red also. In fact... it's the same stuff!! In Holdens anyway. Some cars such as Honda use orange fluid.

    Some fords use pink...
