Hi all,
I've got an issue with my Senator.
We got it converted to LPG about a month ago.
Every since it was converted the idle has been high.
Roughly 950rpm in gear and 1100 - 1200 rpm in neutral/park
It was idling fine before the conversion.
700rpm in gear and bout 850 in neutral/park.
It has since been back to the install place, but they seem to think its normal. . . .I've given up on them.
Stupid Townsville, limited choices. . . . .
So I've done searches here and elsewhere and found no answers to help me as yet.
I have cleaned the throttle body, replaced the TPS & IAC and reset the idle.
I have also checked for vaccum leaks but have not found any as yet.
Throttle cable is not tight and I have checked the butterfly valve and the idle screw also.
Atm im only getting between 200 to 250ks per tank of lpg.
So im after any ideas anyone has.
Cheers!!![]()
take it to someone who knows what they are doing, changing fuels shouldnt affect the idle speed
