    Default vs overheating problem??

my vs has been going fine but wen i stop the engine is super hot and the radiator is goin off its nuts boiling/bubbling and so is the resevoir which leads to all the fluid out of the resevoir ****ing out when its only supposed to dribble out of the exit hose.
ive been told it could be a air pocket, or the thermostat is stuck open/closed
also the thermo fan isnt kicking in at all whatsoever??
    any ideas

Looks like you need to replace the temp sensor near the thermostat housing.

Hope your water pump is ok as well.

Radiator cap, or maybe temp sender.

Remember, if the radiator cap isn't sealing properly, although the temperature will read normal, and the water won't be hot enough for the fan to come on, the cooling system won't have enough pressure, and will boil (the coolant's boiling temperature is higher under pressure).

If it's sealing properly, do the temp sensor. If that fails, check your fan comes on at all by turning the air conditioner on - this will force the thermo fan on. If it doesn't - dead thermo fan, fuse, or relay.

Also, had a similar problem to this that was fixed by replacing the thermostat.

    Just food for thought.

I'm with mildewmatt, change your thermostat, and check your thermo fan works with the A/C on, if not also change your temp switch. when you replace the coolant make sure you get ALL the air out of the system. using a high funnel that attaches to your radiator and seals (old radiator cap, modified) and unscrew the breather on the thermostat housing.
