Well I've got an old lappy.
My aldl plug will be here in a couple of days, a few days after that it'll be transformed into a aldl to serial cable.

Now, here's my problem.
I've looked at efilive(trial) and winaldl(opensource)
Winaldl is not what I'm lookin for from what I've seen of it( no graghical interface etc)
And efilive is a trial version.

To be honest I haven't tries efilive yet.

Does anyone know of any other alternatives?

What I would like realistically, is a graphical interface dashboard with guages and the like.

Does anyone know of anything like this?

I import the Winaldl text files into Excel and make my own graphs.

But a micky mouse interface will cost ya dollars

I use the trial version of EfiLive and works fine. You can select to display from any of the 20 or more real time engine parameters generated by the ECU, but the trial version only a allows a maximum of 6 parameters [if my memory serves me correctly] to be displayed simultaneously on say the laptop. These parameters can be either in text line form, or you can assign guages to them. I guess its not often that you would want more parameters displayed so its quite OK.
