    Default 94 VR Engine Problems

i have a Auto 94 VR and when i try and go fast in it, the engines revs will complety drop when i hit 4500 revs or when i hit kick down and a light will flash on, im not sure which light it is as it happens very quickly, the engine revs will come back as quick as it happens but if u keep ur foot down it will keep doing it. this is a bad problem when i try and go up hills and when it drops down the gear

does any1 know what the problem is????

Its not just a bad miss. How do you mean the revs drop, does the car loose power and the tacho drops or does the car bog down and slow up

May I suggest explaining the symptoms better because its kind of hard understanding what your trying to say. Go and have a look that light flashes when it does it next time, this will help us.

Could be just some dodgy spark plug leads shorting out, but if your getting a light on too we need to know that too. Like Mack said, give us a better description of exactly whats going on.

like vrwagz1 said it very well could be a spark plug problem i remember a while ago one of the leads on my car was on the wrong plug by mistake and that caused it to go ****ed similar to what you said so maybe check your plugs/leads

You need to check the error codes to give a better idea of the problem. When was the last time you changed the spark plugs?

Have you got new one and tried it or swapped with a mates one, to see if it clears the fault. If not start checking and metering the wiring.
