Mine has a trip computer. I get around 12 -13 l/100km around town with lots of cold starts and short runs. On a trip - say down the Hume highway with cruise on it indicates 7.8 -8 l/100km. On hilly or windy highways it doe about 9-10 and when I last towed a trailer it shows 18l/100km

maybe you should check your calibration settings. they could be wrong. hold set on your trip computer. should say 625 flocal. my vr berlina gets 8.2l/100km on highway with avg speed of 117 on cruise. and 11l/100km in town. it was much worse before i replaced the auto.

VR Calais should be getting 10 - 10.5 on the highway (@ max 100Kph) and 11 - 12 in city traffic by my reckoning.

i get about 17l/100km... but i only do short runs.. (5 minute drives) and give it a bit of a flogging ever so often, but its due for its service in december.
Some people say less talk more action, i say more torque less traction.

Accordign to my trip computer, I get about 14-ish l/100km around town (inner city - no freeways) - was getting 17.5 on an 8km start-stop commute, about 8-9 l/100km on the freeway.

Interestingly, adding a trailer made freeway consumption nearly double (not a very aerodynamic trailer) but the city consumption went up by about 15%. Well, there ya go.

Yeah i got same car as u, i get around 14.5l/100km.. i have been since i had it for the last week or so.. has been getting a bit of flogging on the occasion. happy with it so far. If i can get it down to around 12 i'd be stoked. Just running some injector cleaning stuff through it at the moment which i picked up from super cheap. if it works or not i dont no.
