hi guys has anyone put a 5.7 v8 in there vr i was going to put a 5 litre in mine but picked up an year 2002 ss thats had a fight with the bank on the side of the road i am just trying to find out if there are any tricks to getting them in remember we in new zealand dont have some of the rules that yous come upon any help would be great

If you have the car there then go for it

you will need the ls1 kit that you get from CRS to shift the starter motor to the other side and I think you need custom headers from them also but you should be able to pay for all those parts easily selling bits off the ss. You will need to find a V8 K frame for the VR also, there are several vn-vs with ls1's in the on the SC forums and I think one guy on here too
