Hey guys,
Did the VR range ever include a BT1 Wagon? It appears my VR (V6 Manual) Wagon is a BT1 version (FE2 suspension, interior lights). What other changes did the BT1 include compared to standard?
Is interesting as the wagon is red (from factory). I could understand a BT1 White wagon... but red?
Cheers, Errol.
have you got BT1 on your build plate?

Well if you look around cops do use wagon`s, we have one in our town, as well as carrying extra equipment they can use them for K9 units, any dog hair in the back of the BT1?????
Was the BT1 designation for Police use only or did it extend to other emergency services? Being red it makes me think this might have been a Fire dpt wagon or something.
proberbly just a converted wagon, sedans and wagons in the police force are auto's so they can stuff around with the in car computer, put up a pic of the build plate
WTB:VR/S HSV 250km/h speedo cluster
My understandsing of it was that BT1 wasnt a specific police package, and that it was available on a lot of other fleet cars also.
he BT1 and following 9C1's were known as the police pack. It seems that the BT1 and 9C1 markings and characteristics were also carried over to many other government authorities such as the education department, SES, AFP, customs etc
Yay, wikipedia the most secure and correct information database in the world.

[QUOTE=whiteknightVR94;850181]i cant show any, its only things iv read on forums, this one included, as well as with my time in the CFA we worked with the SES for rescue. The VX support vehicle was plates with the -9c1 marking, as was the VY wagon.
VS SS BT1...is this real or not...? plz help me out
Hey guys,
Ill post a pic of the build plate tonight, actually it could be a fire brigade wagon as thats what the guy who sold it to me said (i thought he was talking crap). It doesnt seem to have any of the above listed BT1 specs apart from interior light and FE2 suspension.
It did have 2 antenna holes at the back though (repaired them when i sprayed the roof).
Thanks for the input.
Cheers, Errol.
show me the speedo mate, is the needle solid orange ? ea falcon needles were fitted cause they are bright orange and could be compared more accurately to the 1kmh increments on the chaser dash's
SIR LS1
the two ton go kart
As has already been said, BT1 and the later 9C1 were used on more cars than just cop cars!
They do exsist, mate of mine had a white VS Wagon, which you could see the number on the roof cause the rest of the roof had faded

I will try and remember to ask during this weeks training.
