very worse case would be a screwed tranny (thats worstcase lol)....depends on how much it is over filled....by a little wouldn't hurt (mine is over fill a little) but lets say 500ml plus might then itmight be worth taking some out. It can airate the fluid if its overfilled which can cause problems

how much over filled is it?

no no no, dont do that. The gasket is single use only, so it will need replacing if the seal is broken. Remove the lower transcooler hose, let it run a little out, then put it back on. The system is self bleeding, so you dont need to worry about air
