rebush kits.
hey
does anyone know where i can get a full suspension re bush kit for a VS live axle? or a place online i can go to and choose which ones i want? (super pro ones) or a site that has other brand kits
i have been quoted here and they want over 600 just for the bushes (not including the strut top mounts). I kow ebay sell the red ones for around 400 a kit. but hav not seen super pro brand on there
what im after is the super pro bushes...not the notherlane type (red) as i have herd from about 4 different people (mechanic, friend, suspension place and a good fried that does wheel alignments) that the red bushes are ****! Now i do belive this to a certain extent but yeh enough of that.
what other brands are there?
thanks

I don't want to endorse Super Cheap by any means, but SuperCheap Auto do sell Superpro bushes. You could ask them for a price on the full set.

Only problem with the red ones is they are very hard. That means they are good for handling but crap for ride comfort. The blue ones are a bit softer so are a better compromise of handling and comfort. Depends what your priorities are. The colour is just a pigment by the way , its like putting food colouring in a cake mix.

Well I had the front end of the VS rebushed by the local Pedders. They recommended urathane (type, not brand) for everything except rubber for the control arms. They said urathane bushes in the control arms are what squeaks. I'd like to hear people comments on the longevity for urathane verses rubber. I had the 's' shaped sway bar link kit installed in mine and just 12 months on I'm getting that knock sound when coming straightening the wheels coming out of corners or backing out the driveway.
As far as brands go you've got Nolathane, Super Pro, Whiteline and Noltec. All have websites with downloadable catalogues

I just priced up a Super Pro bush kit for a VN, pretty much the same as VS. Including strut tops it was $578. This was for the front and the rear. The VS has different strut tops, but I can't see the price being much different.
As far as the colour, it comes down to brand. They are all polyurethane. They are all hard.
