VR Oil Light on and off after...

Hey guys my oil light keeps coming on

some times it fades out for 5 seconds and comes back on however this only started when my old one was leaking and my uncle replaced it however it was over tightened and snapped the metal with the thread so had to replace the that part the oil filter and switch so we put thew new switch in before we bolted the new section up now i get this problem what could it be everything seems tight and plugged in fine and the oil is full.
