28mm, umm i think it causes nor accurate steering and oversteer.
hey what would the benefits of a 28 mm front sway bar do to a VS commodore?
cheers![]()
28mm, umm i think it causes nor accurate steering and oversteer.
ive got a whiteline sway bar car corners flat and no understeer feeling when cornering at high speeds
cant remember but wasnt much i got them from gslrallysport
hmm may go to work and bend sum bar into shape with the oxy
ah ok guys thanks
reason why i asking is cause some guy has a few for sale on e bay (brand new) he did have 30 of them but think he sold a fair few....hes only asking 40 bucks each now (was 70 a while ago) they were supposed to go to NZ but the order fell through or something
Thicker swaybars allow you to reduce body roll, while not sacrificing ride comfort. They're a good alternative to linear springs.
If you go too thick in the front, you get understeer - too thick in the back, you get oversteer.
eg: I like my car to tend toward oversteer in heavy cornering, as IRS isn't as twitchy as live axle, so I run a stiffer rear end. If you prefer a little understeer, tune a stiffer front end.

28mm is a good step up for the front on VS sedans (24mm usually I think).
Wagons use 26mm std.
If you find it understeers with the bigger front bar just go a size bigger on the rear.
Rear bars for solid axle VS's are cheap to pick u in various sizes from most wreckers (any from VB-VS all fit).
Rear IRS, can't tell you, don't know.
