Central Locking not working

hey im having an issue with my central locking, i drive a vr series 2 if it makes a difference but it wont work at all, i have checked the fuse and its fine but the locking system is completely offline. I had issues with the remote a while back but now even when i turn the key in the door it will only open the drivers door. I have had to take out my cabin light as now it wont turn off and i dont want to waste my battery. Before i go to an auto electrician does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

mate it is because of the rain, they sometimes stop when the lock solenoids get moisture in them, they will come good after a day in the sun

theres also another connection inside the drivers door (might need cleaning)

thanks for the help. just to add to it when my i went to put on my wipers with water today i only got water, to get the wipers on i had to push down too clicks, there was not intermittent wipers. this is has never happened so im thinking a possible link with something electrical... any further thoughts? i intend to leave it a few days and see wat happens

Yeah and I guess you should check the rubber window seal so that if/when you fix it, it doesn't happen again. Water could be leaking through. Mine disappeared down into the door at one stage and then rain gets straight in!
