VS tail lights

Also! if anyone has installed the performance tail-lights for VR-VS commdore, generally speakng about the ones available on ebay, can someone post or send me a couple of pictures, because im deciding whether to buy them or not and want to see how they look before hand.

I'm thinkin' about putin' a set on my white VS Berlina ... got quoted $238 (fitted) from a local business here in town ... is this a resonable price? I thought they were at least over $300 a pair. This little investment is going to have to wait after spending $165 on a reconditioned alternator which I just spent the morning buying and fitting it myself.

i paid $360 for them last year when they first came out but, i can get them now in chrome or black (chrome looks crap on white) for about $180 a set. fit them yourself. takes 10 mins. its very easy, just undo the screws, pull out the globes and put the new lights in.

you have the black ones mate. same as mine. the other ones have a chrome background. yours look black to me.

Was gunna buy some for my car, but i have better things to buy first, like new exhasut and mags :P

Hi folks
I am a newbie just joined, I have a 95 VS Berlina and wish to put Altezza style lights on the rear, but down here in NZ they are so bloody expensive, I am coming over to the Gold Coast on the 5th of June to stay a couple of weeks with my eldest son, where can I get a set of lights from while I am on the G C ?
or Brisbane ? To give you an Idea how dear bits are down here, I was quoted $980 bucks plus a days labour to fix the cover on the left side airbag
Any suggestions on the lights will be much appreciated.

you can buy the tail lights from autobarn in south tweed heads which is bout 20 mins south of gold coast for 300 i think i got mine from ebay

Mine are the clear chrome ones, got them when they first came out looks heaps better with the rear garnish painted the same colour as the car, you should get the new headlights and blinkers too, I still have to take photo's of them, they are in my smashed up VR atm LOL

hey mate on the coast u can just go 2 auto barn and then take em back 2 NZ n fit em ur self it aint hard not sure on the price all i kno is there $200 from my wagon

Gday. The black ones would suit a red VS nicely. Where would I part with my hard earned coin on a set of these? ........as ebay only seems to have the chrome ones.

You can pick up both the chrome ones and the black ones on rarespares:

Click on the online shop tab and then follow the links/instructions until you get the list of Commodore parts for VN-VZ, select the tail lights list.

Either set will cost you $325.74 plus delivery costs.

I'm thinking about getting a pair for my dark grey VR but I haven't worked out if black or chrome would be better... what do other people think? It's a Berlina so it has a bit of extra chrome on the body already, so maybe the chrome ones?

i'm sure theres some spoiler place you could go to in syd.
