high pitched squeal

after taking out my throttle body and bellmouth to clean. i now have a high pitched squeal from back of my engine it is loud enough to hear when standing outside of car while still running. goes away when car turns off and if i give it a quick rev it goeas away for a second. any answers?

did you put oil on the rubber rings when you put it all back together ? you've got an air leak somewhere, should be easy to find cos u know where to look

You probably fouled one of the gaskets, havn't tightened something up properly, or have something misfitted. Take it apart and have another close look at everything

i put a box around the only one that looks suss it comes from under the throttle body and connect to the thing i put the blue box on. but i cant get the hose any further on. it goes further but not cant move it.

sounds like the sound my car makes... its really annoying yeah?
only thing is, i didnt clean my throttle body lol... did u work out wtf it is?

mines starting to get louder too... it stopped for a cpl days after the accident, but now its getting louder n louder... doing my head in lol

wow 5speed, u didn't pull the engine out just to find the air leak did ya ??!!
i was talking about the gasket between throttle body and manifold, or any other gaskets you removed.
