Flooding problem..i think

Hey, just wanted to know if anyone could help me it. I drive a VR Clubby and its only just started, but if i put my foot down not all the time but randomly doesn't matter if the cars hot or cold, she splattters a little jerks forward then stalls, and i basically have to pull over wait 5/10 minutes to start it again. Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on with my car cause i sure as hell dont lol! CHeers

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Off the regulator is a vacuum line (I hope the V8s are similar to the V6's here or my info is not right). If the regulator fails, fuel is leaked back into the manifold and floods the engine, causing the problems that you are describing. The vacuum hose should not have any fuel in it or smell like fuel. I am working from my knowledge on the V6's though, Im not sure if your V8 works the same?
