Hi. I'm currently trying to install a set of pacemaker headers to my vs which has a T5 Borg warner gear box! As expected the left hand side was a breeze but the right is very tight!
I followed the instructions and ground the edge of the bell housing back a little. I've tried putting them in from the top and the bottom (I have the car jacked up on stands) but I cant seem to get them in. I was wondering, does anyone know any little tricks to sneak them in? Any advice is most appreciated! Thanks
im installing them on a v8 at the moment, so its even harder for me. i had to jack up my engine a bit on the drivers side, and then it was just a matter of finding the right way to manouevre them in and i eventually got it

yeah thats not a bad idea actually, i could get the jack under the edge of the bell housing and lift it up a bit. did you just unbolt the right hand engine mount?
yeah pretty much, i just jacked it from the motor, using the sump and a block of wood. dont jack from the sump directly![]()

yeah cool thanks mate, i'll give it a go tommorrow, even a few mm will make it a bit easier!
Yep jack the engine slightly, thats how they'll do it in the exhaust shop
Got em on alright, I ended up jackingthe engine up and sliding them through. Cheers for the help
