hi guys new to the place. anyway i'm nat don't have a commy yet but holdens runs in the family as mum and dad have had a few holdens like a 308 devile, 308 GTS HQ, worked 202 HR, 3.8 VN calais, 3.8 VR excutive and now they have a 2004 caprice, and my self have had a VK brock look alike 308, and a **** as VN.....
i'm looking a getting a berlina VR 5L HSV enhanced
and would like to ask i know it is a berlina but the stock one's had 165i and this one has a 185i so would that make it a S, SS or clubsport or nethere and it out there on it own??
maybe a dumb Q but need to ask
Nat
It's just an Enhanced Berlina with the 185i tune in it. Has some extra goodies over the standard Berlina.
No It's not a S - SS- or clubsport - correct
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
this is the tag that is has under the bonnet but it's just numbers and letters to me i dont know what any of it means and dont know what HSV would have done to the car

The XX1 was the 180kw engine in the VP range so that would be for the 185i option.
533 is th build number on the car - so should have a matching dash tag.

let me brake it down 4 ya.
Holden`s V8`s VR/VS
Berlina=165i
Calais=165i
SS=165i
BT1 (X police vehicles) =165i *note some QLD BT1`s had a 185i pack, though this is noticable when buying one because of the HSV CAI and headers.
HSV`s
Manta= 185i
Clubsport=185i
GTS= 215i
Senator= both 185i and 215i options
*215i is a factory stroked 304ci to 355ci
hope this clears thing up a bit.
In my opinion getting a SS, berlina or calais to the 200kw area is so easy and just makes the 20kw gain a brush off when buying/looking for old HSV`s, though the bodykits and luxo bits do it for me.
and the Maloo is the 185i toohaha
