Paint?

The person who owned my car before me sprayed what looks like paint from a can over my paint job, it is the same colour, how would I go about taking this paint off but not stripping the paintwork underneath it?

I hope that makes sense lol. I can post a picture if you want.

it would probebly just buff off if its just from a spray can,

Though there must be a reason the previous owner painted over it. Might have crap paint underneath it.

cut and polish, then apply some cut and polish if it's still there.
