    Exclamation a rather daft question about mud flaps :embarrass

    i cant belive im asking this, ok, so i knowe its a dum question and i know i should know the answear so do i have to have those but ugly mud flaps dangling from the back of my car is it a legal thing or is it just a courtesy for the person behind you thing.
    either way they look gay.

    what mudflaps are you talking about?

    Semi Trailer flaps? or standard commy flaps?

    Cant see it being an item required as they sell new cars with it as an option (well in the past).

    So no you dont have to have em.

    In QLD its an option to have them on.

    Most people just keep them to prevent stones flying up and hitting their paint.
    But their not required

    In OTHER states, (like vic) you cant get a wrc without them, because without them you could fling rocks up at the person behind you and run them off the road

    yes you can get a rwc without them. theyre not required. you either have to have 4 or none.

    WTF..... Whr do u get ur roadworthys? all my cars have NEVER had mudflaps, and have all had RWC.
    maybe they need neons......

    and there gone looks much cleaner and tuffer, just walked down to the shop and out of about 50 or so there was only one with mud flaps. i never realised how gay the looked..
