Ok got a 94 VR that sits up way too high and looks terrible so i want to fix that up pretty soon so my question is how do i go about doing this for as cheap as possible?
A mate is willing to help me do the rear but said i need an adjustable bar thing because its a solid diff does that sound rite? If so how much would that go for?
also for the front h said its a little harder and said i should pay somone to do it. Is there anything needes for that apart from the springs?
And last of all how mush would they be i checked out ebay and for King spings super lows its around $250 does that sound right?
Cheapest: Go to wreckers, hunt around. There's stacks of aftermarket springs and shocks on cars at wreckers. I picked up my springs AND shocks for $200.
Fronts are hard, but only possible if you have a rattle gun. Fronts took me and a couple of mates just over two hours. Worth paying for if you're inexperienced.
If you go Superlow, you should be able to get away without an adjustable panhard rod at the back depending on your wheel sizes. I would also advise getting good shocks for the front and back. If you stick with your standard shocks, it won't handle nearly as well as it could, and after a year the shocks will be flogged out. Then you have to pay AGAIN for someone to take the front struts apart and stick shocks in.
