When i had my tint done the other day, the bloke asked me where i got my interior window seals from, as he said he had worked on heaps of VR/VS commodores statos/calais and said they all used a rubber seal whereas mine has a felt sealhe wanted to know where i got it from as he wants to recommend them to customers as the rubber ones are a real bugger to work with! Anyway im sure these would be factory fitted to all calais models, but he was adamant they where not ect anyway i would throw up a pic but my batteries for my camera will have to charge first!

Yeah as far as i know it is standard for berlina and calais models. I've got them on my vs that i got from a berlina so it also has a chrome strip along it too.

I think it was even standard on VS exec. My mums old one had felt/rubber window sealt - though that had some special trim package on it too i think.

I think most of them with age rub off or fall into the door, and i'd say thats prob why your window tinter hasn't seen them before cos my exec and calais both have them
my sII acclaim has em
idk if this is okt o post herebut my door rubbers on the inside of the passenger bottom have come loose how do i fix that?
To fix.
Door trim off and fish out the rubber from bottom of the door. Glue back on with some automotice stick glue (Silafex is good) Hold in place by wrapping some tape around it in 4 or 5 placed - firm not too tight.
Else get some VS ones from the wreckers - they are clip in type rubber oand dont fall off as easy.![]()
