exhaust noise

hey guys,

i got a new clutch put into my vs however when i got it back theres a funny ticking noise coming from the exhaust it seems to get louder and faster if the revs pick up, the noise seems to come from the y piece i think?

there is probably a crack in the y-pipe allowing air to get in. First check the bolts on the cat are tight and the exhaust manifold bolts are tight as well. If they are tight, with the car running, run your hand along the y pipe (not actually touching the pipe, it will be hot, but a couple of cm's away) and feel for air/exhaust being pushed out.
